Founder and President
Grayson founded Jet Methods in 2003 with a commitment to making private aviation accessible and easier. Throughout his three-decade aviation career, Grayson has created unique and lasting aviation programs to bring private aviation to more people.
As President of Jet Methods, he not only drives the culture and values, but also the strategic planning and direction of the company. Grayson’s experience and knowledge of business aviation, results driven focus, and client dedication sets Jet Methods apart.
Grayson and his wife are active supporters of local charitable organizations in San Diego. Grayson also serves as a Board member at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from National University.
Bret Townley
Director of Flight Operations
As Director of Operations, Bret overseas all flight operational activities and leads regulatory communications with the FAA. In addition, he performs the role as FAA appointed pilot Check Airman for Jet Method’s staff of pilots. Bret has twenty-five years in aviation serving as a pilot, aircraft manager, and in FAA Certificate startups.
When not working Bret enjoys spending time traveling and attending to properties in Mexico, scuba diving, and still avid in skydiving where he has made over 23,000 jumps and was awarded 1997 National Champion in Parachuting.
Robert Buehler
Chief Pilot
Robert directs the recruitment, training, and mentoring of our pilot team with a focus on maintaining the highest levels of safety and professionalism. Robert also heads our Safety Management Program, coordinates with both FAA and TSA personnel on regulatory matters when required, and assists our aircraft owners in reviewing flight plans, crew schedules, and aircraft upgrades.
Throughout his four-decade long aviation career Robert has taught new flight students inspiring to be pilots, served as an assistant chief pilot progressing to a full airline career spanning 38-years where he flew many different aircraft including the iconic B747, was an FAA appointed Check Airman, a company Standards Captain, and a Line Check Airman Coordinator.
In his free time Robert enjoys spending time with the family, his grandchildren, and many friends. Bob is a graduate from Stanford University where he holds a bachelor’s in biology.
Jose Salazar
Director of Maintenance
Jose provides both oversight to our maintenance team and hands-on contact with our fleet of owner owned aircraft. His work ethic, attention to detail, proactive communication, and customer service focus gives our aircraft owners piece of mind that their important asset is being properly maintained to a high standard.
Throughout his 16-years of maintenance experience, he has performed work on many different aircraft types and sizes from small Cessna single engines to PC12 turboprops, Gulfstream, and Bombardier jets, up to Boeing airliners and Chinook helicopters. In addition, Jose has served roles as Chief Inspector, Maintenance Controller and Manager of Quality Assurance.
Jose holds an A&P license with Inspection Authorization issued by the FAA.
Jon Lash
VP Client Services
Jon overseas our client service team to deliver the very best care and service to our clients. He has a strong aviation industry knowledge in both sales and customer service spanning three decades. Jon enjoys talking with clients and in finding the best way to meet their aviation needs and goals. Outside of aviation Jon’s hobbies include running, cycling, pickleball and golf. He is active in musical theatre with his family, and as a professional race announcer for various sporting events in the area. Jon holds a Bachelor’s in Communications with a focus on photography and Public Relations.
Tori Frost
Executive Charter Consultants
Tori communicates daily with clients ensuring travel plans are seamless and flight requests are fulfilled.
As a prior aviation operations specialist in the Marine Corps, she spent 5 years flight planning, scheduling, and performing operational duties across multiple units with aircraft including F-15’s, Hueys, Cobras and the Osprey. She is also an avid reader and bodybuilder. Tori holds a Bachelor’s in Social Psychology from Park University.
Samantha Lombardo
Executive Charter Consultant
Samantha interacts daily with clients on all aspects of their trips, from charter sales to trip planning, and customer service. She enjoys the fast pace and organization it takes to perform each trip at a high level of service and client satisfaction. Prior to joining Jet Methods, Samantha scheduled multiple aircraft for a large skydive facility where she also worked as a skydive instructor and videographer. Samantha is currently studying for a Classics degree.
Lisa Williams
Accounting Manager
Lisa prepares client statements and invoices spanning our service offerings. She has direct communication with our aircraft owner clients and their accounting designees on all financial matters concerning their aircraft. Lisa enjoys working in Finance and customer service and has a passion for small business having owned her own for 18-years. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family hiking, bicycling, and exploring. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management.
