About Private Aircraft Charter
Costs are broken down beginning with the aircraft cost per hour, which vary from aircraft to aircraft depending on the cabin size, range, and cruise speed of each particular aircraft. Additional costs may include flight crew overnight expenses if applicable to your trip, expenses to park the aircraft at each stop, and Federal Excise Tax (FET) paid to the IRS by Jet Methods after each flight.
We offer for sale empty leg flights when available.
Booking Your Trip
The typical booking reservation is made 1-2 weeks prior to departure however same day bookings may be made based on aircraft availability. Travel during holiday’s or large seasonal events, we suggest reserving your flight early.
In most cases a cabin server or flight attendant is not needed. For larger groups, in larger aircraft, a cabin server or flight attendant may be needed.
Onboard drinks and light snacks are provided complimentary, consisting of bottled water, assortment of soda and juices, chips, nuts, energy and granola bars, and alcohol by request. Additional catering can be ordered by request. We’ve written an article on the possibilities found here…
Jet Methods does not charge any itinerary change fees. We also do not charge for trip cancellations made outside 24-hours for domestic travel, and 48-hours for international travel.
Preparing For Your Trip
How early do I need to arrive for my flight?
Generally :05 to :10 is sufficient amount of time to board the aircraft while bags are being stored.
A Passport will be required is all cases for customs and immigration. Note that a US Passport Card cannot be used for international travel by air.
Typically aircraft can accommodate 1 hard-sided piece of luggage and 2 soft-sided pieces of luggage per-person. The aircraft can hold additional luggage with less traveling passengers. In addition, golf clubs and most size skis can be accommodated. If you have questions on possible luggage size and weight restrictions, contact your charter representative for more information.
